Late arrival at Kansai Airport: last check-in 24:00

Flights that land late at Kansai Airport (KIX) make it hard to know when you will actually leave the airport, because immigration and baggage claim take time. Decide before you fly how you will reach the hotel and what time you must check in by.

At EZ HOTEL Kansai Airport Seaside, check-in is from 15:00 to 24:00 (last check-in 24:00). This guide covers how to get from the airport to the hotel at night and how check-in works.

The short version: 4 things for a late arrival

• Check-in closes at 24:00. If you may arrive after 24:00, please call us before 24:00 (+81-72-493-7565).
• The last free shuttle bus leaves Rinku Town Station at 23:30. Every departure is by reservation, so book your departure by phone in advance.
• If you cannot make the shuttle, a taxi is the surest way (about 9 minutes from Kansai Airport, or about 5 minutes from Rinku Town Station, as a guide).
• The hotel front desk is open from 7:00 to 24:00.

Getting from Kansai Airport to the hotel at night

The hotel is near Rinku Town Station, one stop (about 6 minutes) by train from Kansai Airport Station. At night you have three options.

Times are guides. Check the latest JR and Nankai timetables for trains and fares, and taxi companies for taxi fares.

The hotel shuttle does not go to Kansai Airport. From the airport, take the train to Rinku Town Station, then board the shuttle there.

Free shuttle bus from Rinku Town Station (reservation required)

Shuttles from Rinku Town Station to the hotel run once an hour from 19:30 to 23:30. There is no daytime service from the station.

• Every departure is by reservation (since September 21, 2026). Call +81-72-493-7565 from 7 days before the day you ride. Without a reservation you may not be able to board.
• The boarding point is the rotary at the bottom of the slope on the right after you leave Rinku Town Station through exit ②.
• If you will miss your reserved departure, call us. If there is space, we can move you to a later one. If you will miss even the 23:30 departure, please come by taxi or on foot.

Check-in is until 24:00

Check-in is at the hotel’s self check-in machine. Our front desk staff can help if you have trouble with the machine. Please keep your reservation details handy so you can check in quickly.

If you think you will arrive after 24:00 (for example because of a flight delay or a long immigration line), please call the hotel before 24:00 at +81-72-493-7565. If you are leaving the airport late, going straight to the hotel by taxi from Kansai Airport (about 9 minutes) saves the most time.

Your first night and the next morning

• A FamilyMart convenience store is right across from the main entrance. The 1st floor has two microwave ovens and a tea dispenser.
• Breakfast (buffet): 7:00–9:30 in the 1F restaurant (adults ¥1,650, elementary school children ¥800).
• Check-out is until 10:00 at the automatic machine. Late check-out is ¥1,000 per hour (in principle until 12:00).
• Luggage: we hold it free for the day after check-out. Before check-in, we can hold it from 7:00 on the day.

Late-arrival checklist

• I decided how to get there (shuttle / taxi / walk).
• If using the shuttle, I booked the departure by phone (last: 23:30 from Rinku Town Station).
• If using the train, I checked JR and Nankai timetables for the latest trains.
• If I may arrive after 24:00, I will call the hotel before 24:00.
